EPL COACHES CLINIC
James Shan and his team of EPL coaches have started clinics for BSA. The response has been amazing with the quality of coaching reffered to by some parents and players as "Never been seen before in Australia" All coaches are from the West Brom academy, who are considered to be the top academy for developing players in Europe. On witnessing the coaching on display we all can see why. For more details check Clinic/Trials Page

BSA U14s won the state title at Derabin, FFV headquarters on Friday the 28th Jan 2011. After winning the south zone the boys qualified to play in the finals. The Boys played a lively Melbourne Phenix in the Semis winning 2-0. The grand finals saw us play a very big and physical Beaumaris that beat the winners of the west zone. Beaumaris put up firm resistance but could not cope with the quick passing game of BSA. The final score was 2-0. Congratulations to the squad of Jules,Tom,Joel,Mikey,Dave,Sam,Callum,Chris,Marco,Sean, Hamza,Ashan,Ali and our coaches Zane, Joe and Jim. |
The BSA U-17 squad training with Coca Cola league 2 club Torquay United have had a record breaking tour . Six boys were signed by Torquay and one was offered a contract by championship club Coventry city.
The U-17 team trained full time for over five months in preparation for these trials. The UK clubs were so impressed they urged us to bring our next batch of U-16 over in three months so that they can be offered apprenticeships and scholarships. Click Latest news to read full article

BSA have had a very successful tournament at the Birds nest Stadium. We lost to the North Korean National team in the Semis but finished the tournament on a high , beating the Chinese national team and gaining a very respectable third place. Chris Williams, Fets Eskin and Mark Flintoft led the Team and made us all very proud. Joel B scoring a fantastic volley from outside the box, in the 1 nil win against China. Josh Drummond won golden boot with 9 goals. Also, great news for 4 of our u18s who were asked to come back in November to Beijing to trial. The boys were noticed in the game against Beijing Guoan which we dominated. We lost 2-1 in the last seconds of the game.
